The “pink is the new orange” trend continues into year two as The Pink Pumpkin Patch encourages folks all around the country to display natural pink-skinned pumpkin this October to support BCA month and Halloween all at the same time.

Arriving just in time for October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, these pink pumpkins are part of the Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation’s national campaign, “Pink Pumpkins on Your Porch – Let’s Unite Against Breast Cancer.” The campaign is designed to encourage everyone to join the fight against breast cancer by placing pink pumpkins on their porches and in their homes as part of their annual Halloween and fall décor.

The Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation has partnered with pumpkin farm owners and growers across the country who have agreed to donate $.25 per pumpkin to the Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation.  Funds will then be donated to breast cancer research organizations nationwide.

Pink is in – are you?  If so, unite in finding a cure for breast cancer and give your jack-o-lantern something to really smile about!
