Leader in the sonic makeup application movement, Color Me launches in Impulse Beauty in select Macy’s stores nationwide including the flagship Herald Square location, the first New York City door for the brand. The announcement is on the coattails of a major expansion across three continents earlier this year following the brand’s Fall 2014 launch at ULTA Beauty and colormebeauty.com. Domestically, the beauty device brand debuted a special offering on shopping network QVC, and internationally the brand launched in Europe with DOUGLAS and throughout Southeast Asia in select Sephora stores.
Considered the first sonic application device, Color Me is pioneering a makeup movement that experts across the industry say has multiple benefits for consumers. With a patented automatic sponge that mimics finger tapping at a rate of 15,000 taps per minute, Color Me improves the speed, coverage and hygiene of makeup application. Additionally, the buffing movement has been shown to have long-lasting results. The device is built on Co-Founder and International Makeup Artist Eric Jimenez’s vision having traveled the globe and listened to countless women voice concerns over their complexion.
“When it came time to consider additional retailers within the United States, Macy’s was top of mind,” says Color Me CEO and Co-Founder Leah Ashley. “The iconic retailer is famed for its leadership in prestige cosmetics, with a progressive view towards beauty brands and innovations. We look forward to continuing to make consumers from coast to coast #colormegirls.”
Color Me will be rolling out to seven Macy’s doors nationwide including: Herald Square – New York, NY, Las Vegas Fashion Show – Las Vegas, NV, Union Square – San Francisco, CA, South Coast Plaza – Costa Mesa, CA, State Street – Chicago, IL, Valley Fair – Santa Clara, CA, and Ala Moana – Honolulu, HI. Color Me’s Automatic Foundation Applicator Starter Kit retails for USD $54.00 and the Sponge Refill Set of two sponges retails for USD $9.00.
