Gift Guide: Homesick Candles Smell like YOUR US State
Let the light of this candle bring you home (or at least feel like you are home!)
Do you ever realize when you go to a different state, it smells, well – DIFFERENT! It isn’t the flowers grown in that region, nor is it the outside temperature or proximity to the beach or mountains. You cannot quite put your finger on it, because it is a cocktail of everything beautifully shaken together.
Enter Homesick Candles Company – who took this very concept and brilliantly hand poured it into a glass container. Never be too far from home, with these GORGEOUS candles, representing the smells of all 50 States.
Don’t get snarky when I say I am originally from New Jersey and you say -“That candle must smell like toxic waste”. WRONG people. New Jersey is actually a stunning blend of nostalgic scents from the breathtaking shores of The Garden State aka ‘The Jersey Shore’.
Rhode Island (where I went to college), burns delectable whiffs of The Ocean State’s stormy seas, baked apples, and autumn hayrides. New York, my current residence, boasts aromas from the Empire State Adirondacks forest floor, apple orchards, and pumpkins.
Find your state and never be homesick again! What a great gift idea for someone away from home (be it military, college, or job transfer) . What better gift, than the one of feeling the comfort, warmth and love of home.
