Never Forget: 9-11-2001

“The attacks of September 11th were intended to break our spirit. Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified. We feel renewed devotion to the principles of political, economic, and religious freedom, the rule of law and respect for human life. We are more determined than ever to live our lives in freedom.” -Rudolph Giuliani, former mayor of New York City

Cool Peep of the Week: Eleanor Handley…handling it all!

WHO IS THIS COOL PEEP: ELEANOR HANDLEY Originally from Melbourne, Australia, I moved to NYC in 2005 after being accepted (and receiving a scholarship) into the MFA program at the New School for Drama in the West Village. Since graduating I've had the chance to perform all over the east coast, including premiering a Chuck Mee off-Broadway rendition of A Christmas Carol, opposite Austin Pendleton and Dominic Chianese (AKA Uncle Jnr from the Sopranos). Other favorite stage performances include Cresidda in the New York Times acclaimed production of Troilus and Cressida for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival and most recently 'Maggie' in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival...(where I had the pleasure of meeting the illustrious CC). You may have also seen me on TV include Royal Pains and As the World Turns.

Boots to Beat the Winter Blues…

What I should have been wearing were THESE amazing Lacoste boots, I spyed on Leslie Bibb in Sundance weekend coverage from the weekend. The Lacoste Archana PS 2 snow boots are not only super stylish, but they are warm enough to keep Leslie toasty in Park City...methinks they would work well on the slushy streets of NYC. Now...can someone please tell me where to get them?! I need a a 7.5. Leslie, can we share?

Cool Peep of the Week: Jackie Moore, A little Jackie and a Whole Lot Moore

WHO IS THIS COOL PEEP: JACKIE MOORE: Hey everyone, my name is Jackie. I’m an actress, living in LA since March 2012, before that I was in NYC working as a model. I was fortunate to work for some amazing high profile magazines and companies during that time. Simultaneously, I started to do small parts in Indie movies and knew that LA was where I wanted (and needed) to be. So now, I am a transplant on the West Coast, who loves California living, but still has a piece of her soul in NY/NJ. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been here and I love waking up every morning awaiting the adventures ahead of me.
