Halloween is sadly over - do you hear me sniffing through your computer?! Trust me, I am sitting in a post-Halloween blues tears, stuffing my face with candy corn and trying to get the fake blood off my neck and the faux stitches from my cheeks (not to mention the fake lashes that were part stuck to my eyeballs, part stuck to my pillow case this morning).
This girl needs a good SCRUB DOWN and lucky me - St. Ives declared the day after Halloween, November 1st, National Scrub Off Day to help take us all back to "natural" or in my case - take me from Chuckie back to CC.
In one of my former lives, I was a publicist for Victoria's Secret Beauty - which included working the most famous fashion show of all time. It was behind the scenes at this very show, that I had the pleasure to meet Naomi Lowde-Priestly (yes, she is Brandon Walsh's real life wife). Her work was flawless, her artistry unique and her personality stunning. I listened, watched and took notes as she created magic behind the scenes. I recall knowing this woman had a gift that went far beyond that of classes and practice. She loved makeup - adored her work...and that made her one of my TOP experts.
So it was no surprise, when I was sent a Sheer Cover kit to review that I discovered, she not only backs this mineral makeup, but is currently featured in the Sheer Cover Studio campaign (nationally) with Brooke Burke-Charvet and a host of other gorgeous women like Eva La Rue, Ali Fedotowsky, Nicky Whelan and Michelle Stafford.
